Today we took more notes off of the powerpoint again. Here are some: Only 20% of Greece has arable land which is great for farming. There was Greek diet which consisted on olives, grapes, grains, and fish. The temperature ranged from mid 40's in winter and low 80's in the summer. The Mycenaeans were around 200 BCE. The Mycenae Kings ruled from 1600- 1100 BCE. The tone of Mycenae was protected by a 20ft thick wall surrounding it. The Trojan War was found in Troy in 1200 BCE. The war started because the goddesses Athena, Hera, and Aphrodite were given the "apple of discord" and argued. Homer was a famous storyteller who was blind. He composed stories during the Trojan War like the Lliad and The Odyssey.
so today I got to lead the prayer. I had to do it twice, because people were in the bathroom and I had to say it again. we got a blizzard in school but mr. schick would not open the window till the end of class. we continued watching the guns, germs, and steel video. they traveled in the same latitude so they would get the same weather and vegetation. Americans consume up to 20 million tons of wheat a year. they are over 100 million cows in USA. jared diamond thinks all races are fundamentally similar.
